
With the last days of school for seniors upon us and graduation just over 2 weeks away, these exciting times call for celebration! Many will celebrate this great life event through graduation parties with their friends and families.
Over the course of the last 20 years, the Bay County Prevention Network has partnered with parents of graduating seniors from GHS to provide tips for safe parties in hopes of increasing the chances of youth not having access to alcohol, thus being safer at these celebrations.
We ask you to take a quick moment to review the tips below, and take some time to discuss with your young adult the importance of being safe and responsible when they celebrate. Congratulations to all of our graduates! We know that supportive families are a huge part in making that happen.

Over the weekend 30+ GHS students spent nearly 70 combined hours walking dogs at Bay County Animal Services and Adoption Center. Thanks to their efforts, they will receive a $1,000 grant from the Bay Area Community Foundation which will be used to purchase supplies for BCAS. Thank you to everyone who made this great opportunity happen!

Garber Forensics will be having a public performance of both the Middle School and the State Champion High School team this Saturday at 7pm. Tickets are just $5 dollars at the door and go toward future tournament costs. Email helmerc@e-hps.net with questions. Hope to see you all there!

A big congratulations to the Garber Forensics Team on a super successful state tournament! Garber won GOLD in the multiple category this year. Performers Elizabeth Bergevin, Kye Friday, Landon Hennig, Sage Schuler, Snow Sexton, Cricket Travis, & Hannah Valley took home first place won the BCD state title with their piece, “Drop Dead Gorgeous!”

Our robotics teams competed at SVSU in the State Championship Tournament. The teams did extremely well. The JV team won the Rookie Inspiration and Rookie Highest Seed Awards. The Varsity Team qualified for the World Championship Tournament in Houston, TX.
Garber High School is incredibly proud of these talented young people who continue to show the world what Dukes can do…Good Luck in Houston!

Attention 9th, 10th, and 11th graders...if you missed taking the PSAT 9, PSAT 10, SAT, or ACT Workkeys, make up testing will be next week!
*April 26th- SAT (11th grade)
*April 27th- PSAT 9 & 10 (9th and 10th grade)
*April 28th- ACT Workkeys (11th grade)
Students who still need to test will report to the Tech Hall on their designated test day at 8:15am. They will need to bring #2 pencils and a calculator. This is only for students who missed last week's testing, this is not a re-take.
