Bush Daycare and Preschool strives to provide each child with a safe, stimulating and encouraging learning environment. We work to create excited, lifelong learners! 

Bush Daycare and Preschool (located in Bush Elementary) Hours of operation are: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 6:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays are closed.

We are closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memorial and Labor Day. These days are subject to change with notification. 

Our Daycare, Preschool and Before/After School programs serve the following ages:

• Daycare/Preschool - 3-5 years old

• Before/After School - 4-12 years old

Preschool (3 through 5 year olds)

• 5 Days = $265 /month  Monday through Friday 8:00-11:00 a.m.

• 3 Days = $180/ month  Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00-11:00 a.m.

• 2 Days = $145/ month    Tuesday, Thursday 8:00-11:00 a.m.  

• 3 Days = $165/ month Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12:00-2:30 p.m.

Full Time Daycare (3 and 4 year olds)- participate in preschool classes as no additional cost

• $190/ week- open from 6 a.m.- 6 p.m.  

Before/After School

• $75 - Weekly

Preschool - Begins in March and will continue until all available positions are filled.

Daycare - Open at all times.

Before/After School - Open at all times.

The preschool program follows the school district's calendar.

In the Preschool room, the group is divided into two sub groups for large group and snack. When the children break into small groups they are broken into 4 groups with each group having their own teacher.

We use an evidence-based curriculum that has interest areas, such as Discovery, Art, Blocks etc. Each class will provide opportunities for active and quiet time, indoor and outdoor play, music and movement, creative/self directed play, whole group and small group time, art, science, math and early literacy activities. Each class has a daily schedule that is consistent, yet flexible, helping the children to learn routines and predictability, while leaving room for the "teachable moment." 

Bush Daycare also offers a before and after-school program for students 4 to 12 years old.  Busing is available to and from Verellen and Cramer in the morning and after school. We are licensed for 100 children, up to 12 years old. After school, your child meets with his small group and teacher and follows a schedule of activities for the afternoon, including snack, outside or gym play, computer time/ homework time, and free choice in the large room. We use the Gym, Playground, Media Center and the large room on a rotating schedule for four groups of children each afternoon. Individual groups and schedules are posted outside each door to the large room. We strive to maintain consistency with the groups of children and the assigned teacher for each small group, following state ratios of 1 teacher - 18 children or less. 

Daycare is open from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  It includes children from the ages of 3 to 5 years old.  Children in daycare will participate in preschool activities at no additional cost.
