Garber Girls’ Soccer started off the season with a 4-1 win over conference foe, Swan Valley. The Dukes had a tough time shaking off the rust in the first half, but came back to put in a dominant performance in the second half. Senior captains Ella Betzold and Ciara Kelly came up big on the offensive end of the field. Ella had two goals while Ciara had a goal and an assist. Avery Nearman put in another goal to round out the scoring on the day. Payton Jacobs, Emma Kelly, and Carly Arnold had assists on the day.  The Dukes are back in action against the Panthers of Alma on Thursday at 4:30 PM. It will be another home game for the Dukes.
