This serves as public notification that a regularly scheduled meeting of the Essexville-Hampton
Public Schools Board of Education will be held electronically pursuant with the Governor’s
Executive Order (EO 2020-15).

This meeting will be held on its regularly scheduled date and
time, May 17, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The public body may access this meeting via with
meeting ID # 862 485 9354, password 2020. The meeting may also be accessed via phone by
calling (312) 626-6799 with password 2020.

This electronic meeting of the Board of Education will have audio and visual access. Members
of the public will be muted throughout the meeting. During the public comment portion of this
meeting, parties interested in addressing the board will have that opportunity, at which time
they will be audible. Public members must state their full name and address when addressing
the board. Public members with questions or anyone with a disability who needs
accommodations for participation in this meeting may address them by calling the Mark Jaffe
Administration Building at (989) 894-9700.

COVID-19 Preparedness & Response Plan

Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-142 “provides a structure to support all schools in Michigan as they plan for a return of pre-K-12 education in the fall. Under the order, school districts must adopt a COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan laying out how they will cope with the disease across the various phases of the Michigan Safe Start Plan. In turn, the accompanying Michigan Return to School Roadmap offers a guide to the types of safety protocols appropriate during each phase.
